Shingley Beach is a tidal beach and a favourite fishing
spot, with mackerel, trevalley, whiting, barramundi and cod all
commonly caught. Parkland opposite provides shaded picnic tables,
barbecues and toilets. A short walk along the boardwalk
leads to many other popular fishing areas, or from Abel Point
Marina why not hire a boat for a day, bring the catch home and
cook it on the barbecue by the pool. The Resort is positioned
between two public boatramps, therefore you can bring your own
